In Tuesday's non-league test, the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) basketball squad got by the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), by a final score of 53-49.

Next, the Bears clash with the Justin-Siena Braves (Napa, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 6. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 20-8 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 28-3 record after their 73-39 non-league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
