Arizona High School Basketball - Superior overwhelmed by Fort Thomas
January 9, 2024: Superior, AZ 85273 The Fort Thomas Apaches basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Superior Panthers to 28 in the Apaches league victory on Tuesday.
The Apaches now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogollon for a 1A Copper contest on Friday, January 12. Fort Thomas will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-8.
The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ). The Roadrunners come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Phoenix Day School for the Deaf was routed by Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ), 67-24, in a league contest.
