Washington High School Basketball - Mead nudges Mt. Spokane
January 4, 2011: Mead, WA 99021 In Tuesday's league outing, the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) basketball squad nipped the host Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA), by a margin of 52-46.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rogers (Spokane, WA). The Pirates go into the 3A/4A Greater Spokane outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Rogers was tipped by Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA), 76-15, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane outing on Friday, January 7. Mt. Spokane will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 44-40 league loss to North Central (Spokane, WA). The Bears record now stands at 3-6.
