The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA), saw Grossmont's volleyball squad beat Chula Vista by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Grossmont upgrades its record to 17-11 on the year. The Foothillers travel to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to play the Norsemen in a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 15-11. Valhalla won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against San Diego Academy (National City, CA)

The Spartans now own a 18-6 record.
