The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors basketball squad (Lanham, MD), was nudged 49-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC)

With the victory, Sidwell Friends advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Quakers host Maret (Washington, DC) to meet the Frogs in a DCSAA AA battle on Thursday, February 6. The Frogs enter the battle with a record of 10-10.

The Warriors now own a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8.
