The Bremen Lions nipped the visiting Tecumseh Braves softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Braves now possess a 26-4 record.

Game Summary

The Bremen Girls Softball team captured their FIRST STATE Championship in capturing the 2019 2A State game against Tecumseh with a 2-1 win.
Rylee Hershberger singled, and an error by the outfield allowed Caitlyn Myers who singled to start the 5th inning as well as Paige Thompson who was running for Hannah Rowe who reached on an error to score the only two runs needed for the win.
Kaelyn Shively allowed only 1 run, and 3 hits from the circle to capture her 23 win without a loss in 2019.
Congratulations to the Lady Lions for their outstanding 2019 season - 29 Wins, NIC Co-Champions, Bremen Tourney Champion, and 2019 2A STATE CHAMPION!
