In Friday's non-league game, the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) football team smashed the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), by a final score of 35-0.

The Coyotes (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Mountain Ridge was trounced by Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 48-23, in a non-league game.

The Pride now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Mountain Pointe will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 41-14 non-league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.
