The Portage Mustangs basketball team (Portage, PA), was overwhelmed 69-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Penn Cambria Panthers (Cresson, PA)

The Panthers now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Hills for a Laurel Highlands 1 battle on Monday, January 29. Penn Cambria will confront a Rangers team coming off a 58-53 league loss to Cambria Heights (Patton, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 12-5.

The Mustangs (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Harmony Area was overwhelmed by Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 70-59, in a non-league battle.
