Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Edge topples Thunderbird

December 28, 2019: Goodyear, AZ 85338

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Thunderbird Chiefs (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 43-31.

The Scorpions (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Saguaro was topped by Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ), 36-28, in a non-league outing.

The Chiefs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 28. Thunderbird will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 8-7.
