Michigan High School Football - Norrix felled by Portage Central
October 11, 2019: Portage, MI 49002 The Norrix Knights football team (Kalamazoo, MI), was knocked off 29-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI)
The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Wildcats come into the Southwestern Michigan - West challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Mattawan knocked off Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge on Friday, October 18. Norrix will meet a Spartans team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 7-0.
