In Saturday's non-league outing, the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX), by a count of 69-41.

The Falcons (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 18-3 record. In their last outing, Nixon smashed Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX), 91-48, in a non-league outing.
