In Friday's league outing, the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) basketball squad edged the host Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA), by a margin of 70-64.

The Colts (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Mountaineers go into the AAA Region 6 outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, North Murray held off Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 58-44, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 12. Ringgold will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 48-33 league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Generals record now stands at 9-9.
