The Mountain Pointe Pride topped the host Desert Vista Thunder volleyball squad by a margin of 3-1 in Tuesday's league contest.

Next up, the Pride face the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A Central contest, on Wednesday, September 26. Mountain Pointe will attempt to better on its 15-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 14-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ).

With the loss, Desert Vista moves to 15-11 on the year. The Thunder host Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to face the Aztecs in a 6A Central contest on Wednesday, September 26. The Aztecs go into the contest with a record of 15-10. Corona del Sol won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
