January 31, 2025: Sylvan Grove, KS 67481 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) and the visiting Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS), observed Sylvan-Lucas's basketball team overcome Otis-Bison by a margin of 48-37.
The Mustangs (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS). The Grizzlies come into the Northern Plains challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Rock Hills defeated Tescott (Tescott, KS), 49-18, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS) in a Central Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Otis-Bison will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Oilers come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Macksville (Macksville, KS).
