California High School Basketball - Corona overwhelms Lakeside
December 5, 2018: Corona, CA 92882 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) and the visiting Lakeside Lancers (Lake Elsinore, CA), saw Corona's basketball squad wallop Lakeside by a count of 78-33.
With the victory, Corona upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Roosevelt won 58-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA)
Next up, the Lancers play the Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 56-49 non-league win over San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA).
