The Highland Hawks basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Cesar Chavez Champions to 66 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now have a 18-10 record. They play next when they travel to Williams Field for a non-league game on Friday, February 28. Highland will confront a Black Hawks team coming off a 56-49 non-league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 18-9.

With the loss, Cesar Chavez falls to 16-12 on the campaign.
