Illinois High School Soccer - Plainfield South knocks off Argo
March 16, 2019: Summit, IL 60501 Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Plainfield South will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
The Argonauts now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Argo will confront a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
