April 19, 2018: Claremore, OK 74017 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) and the visiting Pawhuska Huskies (Pawhuska, OK), saw Sequoyah's baseball squad knock off Pawhuska by a count of 16-4.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) in a Verdigris Valley battle, on Friday, April 20. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 11-11 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 8-13 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Keys (Park Hill, OK).
The Huskies now possess a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Vinita for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 19. Pawhuska will play a Hornets squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Jay (Jay, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 10-10.
