Virginia High School Football - Norcom held off by Lake Taylor

October 11, 2019: Norfolk, VA 23502

In Friday's non-league game, the Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA) football team tipped the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), by a final score of 57-56.

The Titans (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers come into the Eastern game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Churchland got by Norview (Norfolk, VA), 38-12, in a league game.

The Greyhounds now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Granby for a Eastern game on Saturday, October 19. Norcom will battle a Comets team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Comets record now stands at 3-4.
