Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), 90-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lawrence Central upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to North Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Panthers in a Metropolitan bout on Thursday, February 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-7. North Central won 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Connersville (Connersville, IN)

In their next game, the Indians meet the Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN) in a North Central match, on Thursday, February 6. Anderson will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 67-51 non-league win over Winchester Community (Winchester, IN).
