Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN), 12-8 in a league test.

With the win, Huntington North upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Vikings host Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 19-7. Carroll won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Bellmont (Decatur, IN)

With the defeat, DeKalb falls to 18-5 on the season. The Barons travel to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-14. Warsaw won 7-4 in their recent league test against Elkhart Memorial (Elkhart, IN)
