Missouri High School Basketball - Cassville can't hold off Verona
January 17, 2019: Verona, MO 65769 The Verona Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Cassville Wildcats to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spokane for a non-league contest on Friday, January 18. Verona will battle a Owls team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Blue Eye (Blue Eye, MO). The Owls record now stands at 7-8.
The Wildcats (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against McDonald County (Anderson, MO). The Mustangs enter the Big 8 contest with a 4-10 record.
