Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Riverview Raiders (Oakmont, PA) and the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), saw Riverview's baseball squad edge Apollo Ridge by a margin of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 3 battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Riverview will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 16-6 league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
