The Ascension Episcopal football team (Lafayette, LA), was beaten 58-35 in Friday's league challenge with the host Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA)

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Hornets come into the 2A District 6 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Franklin achieved victory over Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA), 42-0, in a league challenge.

The now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West St. Mary for a 2A District 6 challenge on Friday, November 2. Ascension Episcopal will meet a Wolfpack team coming off a 26-0 league win over Loreauville (Loreauville, LA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 3-5.
