Louisiana High School Basketball - Natchitoches Central nudges Red River
January 4, 2019: Coushatta, LA 71019 Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA), 70-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Natchitoches Central upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Chiefs host Tioga (Tioga, LA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 20-5. Tioga won 62-52 in their recent non-league bout against Atlanta (Atlanta, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 5. Red River will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 60-44 non-league win over Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA).
