September 18, 2015: Uniontown, PA 15401 The Laurel Highlands Mustangs football team (Uniontown, PA), was knocked off 40-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA)
The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Warriors come into the WPIAL AAA Big Nine challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Elizabeth Forward was knocked off by Trinity (Washington, PA), 49-7, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Uniontown for a WPIAL AAA Big Nine challenge on Friday, September 25. Laurel Highlands will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 43-0 league loss to Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-3.
