The Highlands Blazers football team (Irving, TX), was ripped 54-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX)

The Lions (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul (Shiner, TX). The Cardinals come into the TAPPS Division IV District 3 challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Paul was ripped by Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX), 31-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Blazers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host DasCHE for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 19. Highlands will meet a Spartans team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to First Baptist (Dallas, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
