California High School Basketball - Saratoga knocked off by Alameda
December 29, 2018: Alameda, CA 94501 The Alameda Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Saratoga Falcons to 45 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Leandro for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 3. Alameda will battle a Pirates team coming off a 75-33 non-league win over Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-2.
The Falcons (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers enter the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Wilcox was defeated by Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 78-50, in a non-league contest.
