January 31, 2025: Chicago, IL 60612 Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL), 65-46 in a league match.
With the victory, Chicago Hope Academy upgrades its record to 15-6 on the year. The host St. Edward (Elgin, IL) to face the Green Wave in a Chicagoland Christian match on Saturday, February 1. The Green Wave enter the match with a record of 10-12. St. Edward won 77-71 in their recent non-league match against Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL)
The Hurricanes now sport a 9-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schaumburg Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Marian Central Catholic will face a Conquerors squad coming off a 90-44 non-league loss to Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Conquerors record now stands at 15-10.
