Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Oak Hill Rams (Hineston, LA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 21. Monterey will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Beekman (Bastrop, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Oak Hill falls to 5-8 on the campaign.
