October 19, 2018: Stanton, KY 40380 The Morgan County Cougars football team (West Liberty, KY), was beaten 34-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY)
The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, East Carter achieved victory over Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 25-21, in a league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sheldon Clark for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 26. Morgan County will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 44-0 league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-7.
