The McDowell Trojans football squad scored 24 points and restricted the visiting Cathedral Prep Ramblers to 10 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erie for a District 10 Region 8 battle on Friday, October 2. McDowell will play a Royals squad coming off a 35-25 league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Royals record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Ramblers play the Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 2. Cathedral Prep will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Tornado enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 35-25 league loss to Erie (Erie, PA).
