Arizona High School Football - Valley Vista tops Desert Vista

The Valley Vista Monsoon football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Desert Vista Thunder to 26 in the Monsoon non-league triumph on Friday.

The Monsoon now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shadow Ridge for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Valley Vista will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 28-12 non-league win over Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Stallions record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Desert Vista drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Mountain Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Mountain Lions come into the test with a record of 0-3. Mountain Ridge lost 37-21 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)
