Dorman Cavaliers (Roebuck, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fort Mill Yellowjackets (Fort Mill, SC), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 17. Dorman will battle a Rams squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Rams record now stands at 20-4.

With the loss, Fort Mill falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 17. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Spring Valley lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)
