Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL), 65-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Handley upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 26-4. Cherokee County won 59-31 in their recent non-league bout against Madison County (Gurley, AL)
