The Centennial Chargers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Danville Vikings to 39 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a Western Big 6 contest on Saturday, January 23. Centennial will meet a Silver Streaks team coming off a 59-44 league win over Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 20-2.

The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Knights enter the Big Twelve contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Richwoods was defeated by Manual (Peoria, IL), 67-60, in a league contest.
