Maryland High School Basketball - Academy of the New Church routs Glenelg Country

In Sunday's non-league contest, the visiting Academy of the New Church Lions basketball team scored a big 92-66 triumph over the Glenelg Country Dragons.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Timber Creek Regional smashed Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ), 52-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Glenelg Country will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.
