Maryland High School Baseball - Whitman holds off Clarksburg
May 17, 2019: Clarksburg, MD 21216 Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Whitman upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 16-9. Old Mill won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against South River (Edgewater, MD)
With the defeat, Clarksburg falls to 11-6 on the season.
