New York High School Football - Holy Trinity knocked off by St. John the Baptist
September 7, 2019: Hicksville, NY 11801 St. John the Baptist Cougars (West Islip, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY), 22-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. John the Baptist improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY) to battle the Clippers in a Catholic AA 2 test on Friday, September 13. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Xaverian lost 26-20 in their recent league test against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY)
With the loss, Holy Trinity drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Holy Cross (Flushing, NY) to battle the Knights in a Catholic AA 2 test on Saturday, September 14. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. Holy Cross lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY)
