McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD), 65-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McCook Central/Montrose upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Cougars travel to Chester (Chester, SD) to play the Flyers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 14. The Flyers come into the bout with a record of 5-4.
