The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) and the visiting John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), observed Porter-Gaud's basketball team beat John Paul II by a tally of 47-30.

The Cyclones now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Heathwood Hall Episcopal for a non-league bout on Monday, February 17. Porter-Gaud will play a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC). The Highlanders record now stands at 16-3.
