Arizona High School Basketball - Sunrise Mountain holds off Central

November 22, 2023: Peoria, AZ 85382

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) and the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), saw Sunrise Mountain's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 65-58.

With the victory, Sunrise Mountain improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 25. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Salpointe Catholic won 57-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Central will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 65-45 non-league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ).
