Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) and the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), saw Pima's basketball squad wallop Valley Union by a tally of 65-13.

With the victory, Pima improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Miami (Miami, AZ) to play the Vandals in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Vandals come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Miami won 62-36 in their recent non-league challenge against St. David (St. David, AZ)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Valley Union will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Apaches come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 42-36 non-league loss to Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ).
