The Notus Pirates (Notus, ID) basketball felled the visiting Rimrock Raiders (Bruneau, ID), 40-23 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pirates (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Charter (Nampa, ID). The Patriots go into the 1A Western Idaho test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Liberty Charter defeated Victory Charter (Nampa, ID), 50-33, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ambrose for a 1A Western Idaho test on Thursday, January 19. Rimrock will clash with a Archers squad coming off a 36-33 league loss to Compass Honors (Meridian, ID). The Archers record now stands at 5-7.
