In Friday's non-league challenge, the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) baseball squad the visiting South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), by a margin of 7-5.

With the win, Foothill betters its record to 21-8 on the season. The Knights travel to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA) to encounter the Matadores in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Matadores come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. La Mirada won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA)
