Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH), 9-8 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Avon advances its record to 8-8 on the season. The Eagles host Green (Uniontown, OH) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 7-9. Green lost 14-10 in their recent non-league battle against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH)

The Bombers now sport a 10-6 record.
