In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Myers Park Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 16-0 victory over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.

The Mustangs (14-1) will now prepare for their game against David W. Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Southwestern 4A game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, David W. Butler was overwhelmed by Providence (Charlotte, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
