The Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) football defeated the visiting Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA), 35-12 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 3. Grundy Center will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 28-18 non-league win over Sigourney-Keota (Sigourney, IA).
