Mississippi High School Basketball - Ashland overwhelms Shaw
November 6, 2018: Ashland, MS 38603 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) and the visiting Shaw Hawks (Shaw, MS), saw Ashland's basketball squad wallop Shaw by a tally of 68-30.
With the victory, Ashland improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Center Hill lost 41-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS)
Next up, the Hawks confront the West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 8. Shaw will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 43-27 non-league loss to Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS).
