Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Plymouth Whitemarsh holds off Cheltenham
January 25, 2019: Wyncote, PA 19095 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA) and the host Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), saw Plymouth Whitemarsh's basketball squad hold off Cheltenham by a tally of 45-43.
With the victory, Plymouth Whitemarsh improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Abington (Abington, PA) to confront the Galloping Ghosts in a Suburban One - American challenge on Tuesday, January 29. The Galloping Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Abington won 37-33 in their recent league challenge against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Pennsbury Falcons (Fairless Hills, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 28. Cheltenham will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 54-31 non-league win over Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA).
